Manuel Parra was dynamite at Warriors Park, blowing away the Boston Shamrocks in a shutout victory. The Washington Warriors starter had everything working as he held the Shamrocks to 6 hits in the 1-0 win.

"He was pure nasty out there today," said Boston skipper Wally Christensen. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
