Keystones Absorb 5-2 Loss at Garibaldi's Grounds
Starting pitcher Kevin Keeth fulfilled his part of the bargain, helping the San Francisco Peanuts stymie the Philadelphia Keystones, 5-2. Keeth, who is tied for 5th in the PBC in quality starts with 7, went the distance for San Francisco. He gave up 2 runs on 8 hits. The win hiked the San Francisco record to 21-13.

Chris Beveridge had a big 3-run home run for the Peanuts in the bottom of the third inning. With San Francisco leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a curveball from David Stewart and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 8th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Peanuts ahead, 4-0.

San Francisco manager Chris Graham was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.
