At Shamrock Grounds, the Boston Shamrocks and Tampa Bay Thunder were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The Tampa Bay Thunder picked up a win at Shamrock Grounds, knocking off the Boston Shamrocks, 6-1. On the mound for Tampa Bay was left-hander Luis Nogera. He played a key role in the triumph. At 18-14, the Thunder claim second place in the PBC East Division.
Tampa Bay used the hitting of Trevon Kelley to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Thunder on top, 3-1. For the game, Kelley had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
"Luis is a gamer," said Tampa Bay manager Ray McKay.
