Diablos Walk It Off for 20th Win of Season
The 12-10 El Paso win over Dallas was due in large part to Dan Wlaschin. The Diablos designated hitter went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Ruben Banegas picked up the win in relief. Cesar Rodriguez took the loss for Dallas. El Paso has an impressive 20-9 record.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With El Paso trailing 10-9, Wlaschin jumped on a fastball from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Cesar Rodriguez and hit a 3-run home run to right-center. With one swing, the Diablos had a walk-off win.

"I'm glad I got one I could handle. Glad I got the barrel on it," said Wlaschin.
