Peanuts Get 6th Straight Win with Late Rally
Though he had a terrific game, Travis McCombs could not prevent his team, the Denver Cutthroats, from absorbing a loss. San Francisco won the game, 6-4. McCombs was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for the Peanuts.

San Francisco used the timely hitting of Steve Wells to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Peanuts on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I like how we're playing right now," said Wells.
