The Houston Mavericks defeated the San Francisco Peanuts, 12-6. Doing his part was left fielder Mike Bryant, who was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Houston pitcher Mike Johnson got the win, upping his record to 4-1. Rafael Martinez got the loss. Houston raised its record to 10-10 with the win.

Nathaniel Braswell had a clutch at-bat with one out in the top of the sixth for the Mavericks. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Houston trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run single.
