Ji rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Keystones hurlers were throwing. "I think the Thunder were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Philadelphia (R) fan after the game. "I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Ji in the postgame press interview. Way-ming Ji singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Danny Mendiola in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Xiao-peng Lum in the 8th.
