Behind Wada, Vancouver Blanks Saskatoon, 5-0 Thursday, September 1st , 2016 Vancouver Grizzlies starter Okahito Wada really did a number on the Saskatoon Moose, shutting them out, 5-0, on 6 hits in a complete game victory. He issued no walks and had 5 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Saskatoon manager Bill Levine. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Wada."
