Green Bay, Winnipeg Trade Made Friday, November 18th , 2016 Reports have surfaced that Green Bay has agreed to send 26-year old LF Eric Reese, 21-year old minor league RHP Guillermo Nava, and $1,000 in cash to the Winnipeg Buffaloes in exchange for 25-year old minor league RHP Joel Turpin and 24-year old minor league RHP Paul Ballard. "It's a done deal," said one executive speaking on the condition of anonymity. "I'm surprised word got around so quickly. We just signed off on this an hour ago." The deal apparently is awaiting physicals before an official announcement is made by either team. Over his career Reese has batted .251 and collected 106 hits, 9 home runs and 41 RBIs. |
