Akbar and McKnight Traded Thursday, November 17th , 2016 The Empires and Canadians pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 23-year old minor league RHP Abdel-Alim Akbar and 24-year old 2B Souma Ohata head to Sherbrooke in exchange for 27-year old LHP Jayden McKnight. A source close to Southern California officials said, "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." |
