Saskatoon, Vancouver Trade Made Saturday, November 12th , 2016 The Moose and Grizzlies announced a deal that was completed today. Saskatoon sent 30-year old 2B Chris Whitfield and 23-year old minor league C John Kirby to Vancouver for 23-year old minor league SS Edwin Aragon and 24-year old minor league LHP Jake Komar. Both teams appear happy with the outcome of the trade. The general managers told the Baseball News Network they felt the swap was beneficial for all parties involved. All-time Whitfield has played in 227 games, batted .278 with 23 home runs and 252 base hits. |
