Mayhall Chosen 2016 WSPC Most Valuable Player Award Tuesday, November 1st , 2016 Las Vegas's Ricky Mayhall put the wraps on a fine campaign today by winning the 2016 Western Semi-Pro Circuit Most Valuable Player Award. The 32-year-old veteran scorched the opposition with a .294 average, picking up 169 hits, 30 doubles, 1 triple, 29 home runs and 102 RBIs, while scoring 100 runs. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 20. Gabe Nelson of the Saskatoon Moose finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Greg Collopy of the Southern California Empires finished third with 2 first place votes.
