Mexico City, Quebec City Close Deal Wednesday, October 19th , 2016 The Mexico City Aztecas announced a deal with the Admirals today, sending 30-year old RF Isaiah Griffin, 18-year old minor league 3B Cesar Quintana, and 24-year old minor league 3B Ryan Boyle to Quebec City for 36-year old RHP Brad Rand. It had been talked about for the past few weeks and everything came together late last night. All players are expected to be joining their respective clubs shortly. Lifetime Griffin is hitting .280 with 266 hits, 28 home runs, 140 runs scored and 125 RBIs. Rand has posted 7 victories and 6 defeats in his career with a 4.81 ERA. |
