No Late-Season Magic Coming: Southern California Out of Playoffs Friday, September 23rd , 2016 It is an "empty" feeling for members of the Southern California Empires, according to club manager Adrian Mendoza. That's because the team was mathematically eliminated today from playoff contention. The Empires have made the playoffs 3 times in their 15 years as a Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2014. |
