Postseason Bid Ends for Detroit Saturday, September 17th , 2016 The Detroit Chargers quite simply didn't have what it took this year. The club was formally eliminated from playoff qualification in 2016. "It feels bad," said Chargers closer Ian Yellin, when asked for his response by reporters. "Having your biggest hopes of the year dashed feels bad." Detroit last appeared in the postseason in 2011. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 10 times in their 12-year history. |
