It's Over! Vacaville Defeats D.C.
The Vacaville Steelheads were good enough to get past the D.C. Potomacs at Ballpark of the Potomac today and secure the 4th championship in franchise history.

"When you wear Steelheads on your shirt, you're good at something," Vacaville skipper Mark Mastronardi told the press.

Steelheads left fielder Mike Bryant was named MVP of the series after he went .444 with 1 home run and 2 runs batted in.

"It feels totally incredible," Bryant said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment."

The new champions capped off a great season with a 4-3 victory over the Potomacs to win the SPBC Classic Series 4-1.
