It was a sensational day at the plate for Mike Hohler as he led the charge to a nifty 10-4 win over the Moose. The Vacaville third baseman was pure misery for the Saskatoon pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.

"Hohler put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Bill Levine, manager for the Moose, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."

Mike Hohler walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run triple in the 6th, hit an RBI triple in the 8th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th.

In the 2016 season Hohler is hitting .306 with 6 home runs.
