No Playoff Berth Coming for Edmonton Monday, September 28th , 2015 Looking at the bigger picture, Tim Wetmore of the Edmonton Drillers said he's excited for what's to come in the years ahead for his squad. But in the present, he said, the club is quite disappointed with the realization today that they are now mathematically out of playoff contention for the 2015 season. Edmonton last appeared in the postseason in 2006. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 12 times in their 14-year history. |
