Senators Out of Playoff Race Sunday, September 20th , 2015 The Albany Senators may still need a piece or two before becoming championship material in Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit. The team has fallen short of its playoff goals this year, being officially eliminated from the playoffs today. "I feel like we have a great group," Senators manager Matt Wojt said. "We happened to come up short or our goal, though. We'll re-tool and be back stronger next season." Albany last appeared in the postseason in 2009. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 12 times in their 14-year history. |
