Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Brewer Saturday, September 5th , 2015 Joseph Brewer, right fielder for the Mexico City Aztecas, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 10-3 victory over the Albany Senators at Estadio Azteca. "Not the outcome we wanted," Albany manager Matt Wojt said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Joseph Brewer walked in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. Brewer is hitting .338 for the season with 9 home runs, 36 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 81 hits in 240 at-bats and played in 61 games. |
