Braves-Buffaloes Swap: Bhattacharya for Payan Monday, December 7th , 2015 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Braves announced today the acquisition of 27-year old C Alex Payan from the Winnipeg Buffaloes in exchange for 27-year old 3B Jason Martin and 24-year old minor league RHP Vij Bhattacharya. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Braves, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." |
