Vancouver-Quebec City Trade: Nunez for Picton Wednesday, November 25th , 2015 The Grizzlies and Admirals pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 19-year old minor league LF Jose Nunez and 23-year old minor league RHP Carlos Espinal head to Quebec City in exchange for 39-year old RHP Justin Picton. A source close to Vancouver officials said, "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." Quebec City will retain a portion of Picton's remaining contract. Career-to-date, Picton has a record of 26 wins and 30 losses and a 4.00 ERA. |
