Las Vegas-Allentown Announce Swap Friday, November 20th , 2015 After prolonged negotiations Las Vegas agreed to ship 23-year old minor league CF Mike O'Malley and 20-year old minor league RHP Chris Ruiz to Allentown for 31-year old LHP Bob Wallace. The deal is awaiting confirmation from the league office but neither team expects any hang-ups. "It took longer than expected," said one GM, "but we knew that the deal was going to happen." Allentown will retain a portion of Wallace's remaining contract. Wallace has fashioned a career won-lost record of 17-10. In 183.1 innings he has recorded 216 strikeouts and put up a 2.80 ERA while earning 4 saves. |
