Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit Top Hurler Announced Monday, November 2nd , 2015 Brian Castetter walked away with the top pitching honors in the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit this year. The Vacaville Steelheads starter was named the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for 2015 earlier today. This outstanding 35-year-old hurler fashioned a fine 16-2 won-lost record in 20 starts. He threw 156.1 innings, giving up 124 hits and 72 walks and holding opponents to a .222 average. Castetter struck out 128 and posted a 2.07 ERA. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Manny Orellana of the Vacaville Steelheads finished second in voting, while Zach Hoelzer of the Newark Eagles finished third.
