Ottawa, Green Bay Deal Made Sunday, November 1st , 2015 BNN has learned the Ottawa Capitals have reportedly worked out a deal with the Green Bay Braves. Sources close to the Capitals indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 26-year old 2B Jim Banks will be swapped to Ottawa with 33-year old C Michael Queen and 20-year old minor league RHP Guillermo Nava heading to Green Bay. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. In 164 career games, Banks has put up a .268 average, collected 21 doubles, no triples, and 14 home runs, driven in 36 runs, and scored 59 times. |
