Brewer #1 Rookie This Year Saturday, October 31st , 2015 The premier rookie performer in the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit was Mexico City right fielder Joseph Brewer. He was honored today by league officials as the 2015 Rookie of the Year Award winner. Brewer put up some good numbers, including a .344 batting average and .415 on-base percentage, while racking up 15 home runs, 55 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Steve Fischbeck of the Newark Eagles finished second in voting, while Sung-ho Kwak of the Ottawa Capitals finished third.
