No Late-Season Magic Coming: New York City Out of Playoffs Monday, September 28th , 2015 Jay Bourne, the manager of the New York City Blues, said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying. Before this season, the Blues last missed the playoffs in 2013. In the 16 years they have been a Professional Baseball Circuit franchise, they have missed the playoffs 12 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Blues have made the playoffs 4 times. |
