Tampa Bay Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Wednesday, September 23rd , 2015 They put up a valiant effort, but the Tampa Bay Thunder didn't have what it takes to make the Professional Baseball Circuit playoffs in 2015. The club was officially eliminated from postseason qualification today. "Sucks," said Thunder starting pitcher Kevin Keeth. This is the club's 3rd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2012. In total, the Thunder have missed the playoffs 8 times in their 16-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Thunder have missed the playoffs 4 times. Tampa Bay last won the Pro Circuit Cup in 2009. |
