The San Francisco Peanuts clipped the Los Angeles Knights, 8-6, in 12 innings at Garibaldi's Grounds. The standout performance belonged to San Francisco pitcher and Ushiku, Japan, native Kosho Otani. San Francisco reliever Kosho Otani picked up the win, while Adam Nightingale took the loss for Los Angeles. Los Angeles is now 4-5.

The decisive blow was delivered by Vinny Rosas in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a 2-run home run off 34-year old right-handed pitcher Andrew Schumacher to win the game for San Francisco. The home crowd went nuts.

"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Rosas. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."
