Rodriguez, Diablos Sink Aces Again in Game 3
Riding the 2-hit performance of third baseman Rob Rodriguez, the El Paso Diablos got a road win against the Las Vegas Aces, 6-5, in Game 3 of the Pro Circuit Cup. Rodriguez slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Diablos, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 0.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Rodriguez delivered big-time for El Paso, stroking a dramatic solo home run off Roger Cobos. The game-changing hit put the Diablos on top, 6-5.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said El Paso manager Joe Peters.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Caesers Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas.
