Keystones Top Aces, 4-2, to Begin PS

The Philadelphia Keystones started the Play-in Series in style, winning on the road against the Las Vegas Aces at Caesers Palace Colosseum by a score of 4-2 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Keystones right-hander Brandon Beech threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball.
Bill Garcia came through with a big-time hit for Philadelphia. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
Said losing manager Casey Lyman: "Give the Keystones credit. They played a better game than we did."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Caesers Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas.
