The Los Angeles Knights knocked off the Houston Mavericks, 7-6, in Professional Baseball Circuit action at Camelot. Los Angeles pitcher and Castlewood, Colorado, native Josh Bruntlett had an outstanding performance. With the win over Houston, the Knights improved to 32-54.

The decisive blow was delivered by Joe Higgins in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old left-handed pitcher Martim Florncio to win the game for Los Angeles. The home crowd went nuts.

"Fans understand the heart of this club is really, really strong, beating all the time," said Knights manager Jason Tudor.
