Knights Pick Up 10-5 Win Against Denver
|
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Los Angeles Knights and Denver Cutthroats came back from a rain delay to finish their game.
A 3-RBI performance from Jason Fallon, who is on pace to hit 19 home runs this season, helped the Los Angeles Knights beat the Denver Cutthroats, 10-5. Alex Ocampo, the winner, is now 4-1. He struck out 3 and walked 3 over 6.2 innings, while allowing 5 runs on 10 hits. Getting the save was Lorenzo Alfaro, his 1st.
Satya Ernalia had a big 2-run double for the Knights in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Los Angeles leading 5-3 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Drew Conroy and swatted a double to left. It was his 11th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Knights ahead, 7-3.
"This kind of win will certainly make our fans happy," Ernalia told the Los Angeles News.
The win puts Los Angeles at 23-36.
