Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at The Thunder Bowl.

Tampa Bay Thunder pitcher Melvin Palacios was in top form, leading his team past the St. Louis Lions, 6-0. With the win, the Thunder have a record of 30-28.

It was an impressive turn from the legendarily hard-working Palacios, who tallied 8 strikeouts in 7.2 innings while allowing just 4 hits. Palacios, who is tied for 4th in the PBC in strikeouts with 112, goes to 4-5 on the year with 112 strikeouts.

"Melvin was in control from the top," said Tampa Bay manager Ray McKay.
