Texans Make Keystones 2-1 Losers
|
Starting pitcher Adam Walsh gave the Dallas Texans a rock-solid effort. The Charleston, South Carolina native helped his team defeat the Philadelphia Keystones, 2-1, at Keystones Stadium. Chris McCarty earned the save for Dallas, his 6th. Dallas goes to 21-35, Philadelphia to 29-27.
Mike Brittian, who is rated as the 87th best prospect by BNN, had a direct impact on the outcome. Brittian contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put Dallas up, 2-1.
"The object of the game is to score more runs than they do," said Brittian. "Mission accomplished."
