Behind a fine performance from Carl Bevly, the Boston Shamrocks knocked off the Miami Sun Sox, 5-3. Bevly was 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles for the Shamrocks. Cortez Crus earned the win to go to 5-3. He allowed 3 runs on 10 hits, with 2 walks and 6 strikeouts in 8.2 innings of work. Chris Phillips recorded his 3rd save for Boston.

With Boston leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Bevly hit a fastball from Tyler Anderson for a solo home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Shamrocks ahead, 2-0.
