Benzai drives in 6 runs to Ignite Texans Offense
The Dallas Texans defeated the Denver Cutthroats, 9-6, in part because of first baseman Firdyiwek Benzai. Benzai was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once for the Texans. Picking up the win was Nick Manning. He went 7.1 innings, allowing 6 runs on 11 hits. The right--hander struck out 6 and walked 4. Dallas has won 4 straight games.

With Dallas leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Benzai hit a sinker from Nate Kelley for a bases-clearing double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Texans ahead, 4-0.
