Mulcahy Belts 2 Homers in 8-5 Win
El Paso and Tampa Bay duked it out and the Diablos came out victorious.

The El Paso Diablos beat the Tampa Bay Thunder, 8-5, with major props going to catcher Mat Mulcahy. On the day, Mulcahy slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Diablos. Danny Gonzalez recorded the save, making him 2 for 2.

In the top of the sixth, the Diablos grabbed the lead when Mulcahy hit his 11th home run of the season. The 2-run home run off William Nelson made it 6-5, El Paso.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Mulcahy told the El Paso Citizen.

El Paso has an impressive 52-24 record.
