The Los Angeles Knights picked up a win at Blues Field, dropping the New York City Blues, 2-1. Andrew Schumacher, who is tied for 10th in the PBC with a 3.11 ERA, was the difference-maker. Luke Dickerson closed the door for Los Angeles, picking up his 9th save of the year. The victory puts Los Angeles at 27-47.
Schumacher lasted 8 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits. The Los Angeles right-hander, who is tied for 10th in the PBC with a 3.11 ERA, is now 6-5.
"Andrew had swing-and-miss stuff," said Los Angeles manager Jason Tudor.
