Boston and Dallas took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

Frank Philpott was a major contributor to the 17-2 Boston win over Dallas. The Shamrocks designated hitter belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 7. Cortez Crus earned the win. Chris Massey, who is tied for 10th in the PBC in complete games with 3, took the loss for Dallas.

With Boston leading 3-0 in the bottom of the second, Philpott hit a changeup from Chris Massey for a 3-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Shamrocks ahead, 6-0.

"I thought we played a nice game," Philpott told the Boston Chronicle. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."

The Texans, at 28-45, have lost 4 straight games.
