A 4-RBI performance from designated hitter Arlen Prest, who finished 5th in the PBC in slugging percentage with .535 in 2009, led the Boston Shamrocks to a win over the New York City Blues, 11-5. This win makes it 5 in a row for Boston.

With Boston leading 8-2 in the top of the seventh, Prest came up to bat against New York City pitcher Chris Rice. Prest hit a fastball to left for a 3-run home run. His 14th home run of the season put the Shamrocks on top, 11-2.

"Arlen leaves the last at-bat behind him, whether it was good or bad, and goes up there and competes on every pitch," said Boston manager Hooman Placeholder II.
