Texans Lose to Lions in Walk-Off
St. Louis Lions starter Paul Easterling found his groove in his team's 5-4 win over the Dallas Texans. The Lions, at 35-35, inhabit third place in the South Division.

The Lions were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 29-year old left fielder Danny Martinez landed a big blow. He turned a first pitch fastball from Chris McCarty into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the The Lions Hearth denizens into a frenzy and sent the Lions home with a thrilling 5-4 win.

"Awesome outing. Paul was on top of them all night long," said St. Louis manager Leo Cruz.
