Sun Sox Rally Late to Nip Thunder
The Miami Sun Sox bested the Tampa Bay Thunder, 10-9, at Sun Sox Stadium. Ian Hoch was one of the standouts. He went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Josh Hensley was credited with the save for Miami, his 10th of the season. By defeating Tampa Bay, the last-place Sun Sox improved to 25-44.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Sun Sox grabbed the lead when Hoch hit his 9th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Akihisa Shibuya made it 10-9, Miami.

"I had some good swings out there," said Hoch.
