Boston Shamrocks starter John Leew pitched his team past the Los Angeles Knights, 5-2. Leew, the winner, moves to 4-2. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 10 and giving up 2 walks. Chris Phillips picked up his 6th save of the season.

Boston used a clutch at-bat from Luis Reyes to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Shamrocks ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"It felt good to put the barrel on the ball," said Reyes.
