The Dallas Texans pasted the Washington Warriors with a convincing 11-2 defeat at Warriors Park. Ashton Shelton was a prime factor in the Dallas win. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 8 runs and scored twice. Dallas is now 24-36.

In the top of the sixth, the Texans grabbed the lead when Shelton hit his 10th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Scott Roland made it 5-1, Dallas.
