Hoelzer Gives Southern California Goose Eggs
Zach Hoelzer of the Newark Eagles humiliated the Southern California Empires at Eagles Park, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 5 hits.

"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Southern California manager Adrian Mendoza, after the game.

Hoelzer whiffed 6 and walked 4 in the 5-0 win.

"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Hoelzer said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
