The Detroit Motors got a stellar performance from pitcher Efrain Johnson, who handcuffed the New York City offense en route to a win, 2-1, at The Motor Yard. The Detroit win streak is now 3 games.

The Motors got a clutch hit from shortstop Juan Galvan. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Motors.

Galvan said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
