Keller Dominant in Las Vegas Win
|
In a low-scoring clash between Las Vegas and El Paso, pitcher Tim Keller was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned praise for his performance in the 2-1 Aces win. Chris Thompson was credited with the save for Las Vegas, his 16th of the season. The victory gives Las Vegas a record of 29-16.
Keller gave Las Vegas a first-rate performance. The 6-foot-8 right-hander permitted 1 run on 1 hit over 8.2 innings of work.
"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Joe Peters.
