Hits Galore: Swisher Drills 5 Hits
Allentown third baseman Erik Swisher could do no wrong today, but the Fleetwings could.

Swisher collected 5 hits against the Quebec City Admirals, but he couldn't win the game. Allentown fell, 8-7, in extra innings at Quebec City Grounds.

"It's a shame we didn't win," Swisher said later. "It would have been a very special day if that had happened."

"In every one of his at-bats, things were in his favor," Admirals manager Bob Wood said. "We couldn't keep him from getting ahead in the count and once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get better pitches to hit."

Erik Swisher grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
