Meyer Slugs Cutthroats to 6-5 Win
In the 6-5 Denver win over Los Angeles, the impact of Dan Meyer was substantial. Meyer went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. David Gandarilla closed out the game, earning his 2nd save. With the win over Los Angeles, the Cutthroats improved to 15-11.

Meyer contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Denver in the bottom of the eighth. With his team trailing 5-2, Meyer took a fastball from Buddy Hofman and stroked the home run to left-center. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Cutthroats to leap in front, 6-5.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Meyer.
